ChinaMate

Your person in China: on-the-ground help, one task at a time

ChinaMate is a family-run team in China that does the things you can't do from abroad: supplier checks, factory visits, sample collection, home watching, errands - quoted per task. Plus a "Chinese friend" membership for anyone who wants a local to talk to.

Hey everyone! I'm Wenlong, maker of ChinaMate. I built this for a simple problem: so many people need something done IN China — check a supplier before wiring money, visit a factory, pick up samples, look after an empty apartment, even visit family — but have no one on the ground they trust. ChinaMate is my family's answer: we're based in Hunan with a network across China, and we do these jobs one task at a time, each quoted individually. No retainers, no middleman markup games — you see photos and reports of what we did. We also run a "Chinese friend" membership ($25/mo) for anyone who just wants a real local friend in China to chat with and ask things. Happy to answer anything — especially the skeptical questions. What would YOU trust a stranger on the internet to do for you in another country?
