CatCode

A pixel pet that celebrates when your AI agent ships

CatCode is a tiny pixel pet on your Windows desktop that celebrates the moment Claude Code, Codex or Cursor finishes a task, so you know your agent is done without watching the terminal. Between runs: a pomodoro timer, water/stretch reminders and Desktop-Goose-style play. 6 skins. One-time $5, no subscription, runs locally. Windows only; unsigned build, so SmartScreen may warn on first launch (More info → Run anyway).

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm a solo dev, and this is CatCode. It's a small pixel pet that lives on your Windows desktop. It watches for Claude Code, Codex or Cursor to finish a task and throws a little celebration when they do, so you can look away from the terminal and still know when your agent is done. Between runs it works as a pomodoro timer, gives water/stretch/eye-rest reminders, and plays around the desktop Desktop-Goose style. There are 6 skins (the default is a puppy named Шкипер, plus a dog, a husky and cats), and you can add your own. A few honest notes up front: - Windows 10/11 only for now. - It's an unsigned build, so Windows SmartScreen will warn you on first launch. Click "More info → Run anyway". - One-time $5, no subscription, and it runs locally. I'd love feedback, especially on which AI tool you'd want supported next and what skins you'd like to see. I'll be around all day to answer questions. Thanks for looking!
