Cairn

For travelers. Choose your interests and get curated alerts

Cairn quietly alerts you to remarkable places nearby as you walk through Europe's cities. Curated recommendations, no ads, no tourist traps, no endless lists.

Top comment

Cairn started from a simple idea: discovering great places shouldn’t require hours of searching. Most travel apps are built around planning a trip once you already know where you’re going. I wanted something more passive - a way to follow cities you love or want to visit someday, and get curated alerts when there’s something worth knowing about: hidden spots, local gems, cultural events, seasonal ideas, and places to save for later. The goal is to make travel discovery feel calmer, more intentional, and less like another feed to scroll. This is still early, so I’d really appreciate any feedback, ideas, or thoughts on what cities and alert types you’d like to see next.

Who hunted Cairn?

Cairn was hunted by Audens. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
