Cachejay
ChatGPT and Claude, caught up on your whole workday
Cachejay keeps track of your workday on your Mac (screen text, calls, coding-agent sessions, files and to-dos), files it by project, and gives that context to ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and Codex.
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Rem, and I built Cachejay.
I use Claude and codex all day, and I kept starting every conversation the same way: pasting in what I'd been working on, what got decided on a call, what I still owed someone.
The AI was smart, but it had no idea what my day had looked like.
Cachejay fixes that. It runs on your Mac and keeps notes on your workday on its own:
• Screen text: read straight from your apps, plus a small screenshot about once a minute when the screen changes
• Calls: Zoom, Meet, Teams and FaceTime are transcribed on your Mac. No bot joins and the audio isn't kept. You get notes, decisions and action items with owners.
• Coding-agent sessions: Claude Code, Codex and Cursor
• Projects, days and to-dos: every project gets a page with what got done, what was decided and what's still open. Nobody types any of it.
Then you just ask. ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and Codex connect over MCP, so "where does the deal stand?" or "what did I promise in Tuesday's call?" gets answered from what actually happened, on your Mac, on the web or on your phone between meetings.
On privacy, since it's the first question: password managers, Keychain, private browser windows and password fields are never captured, and you can exclude any app. Passwords and keys are masked before anything leaves your Mac. Screenshots are deleted from the cloud after 14 days.
It's $12/month after a 14-day free trial, no card needed, and the AI is included. There's also a Teams plan where each person chooses which projects to share.
I'd love to hear what you'd ask your AI if it already knew your whole workday, and what would make you trust it enough to try. I'll be here all day answering questions 🙏
