After years of building fitness apps that asked users to "stay motivated" without giving them any real reason to, I got frustrated with the gap between what fitness apps promise and what they deliver. Users don't need another streak counter — they need a reason to show up tomorrow.
So we built Burn2Earn around a simple idea: turn the effort into real, tangible rewards. Track your daily activity, complete fitness challenges, earn points, redeem them for Amazon, Apple, Steam, or 325+ other gift cards. No gambling, no fake currency — just actual rewards for actual movement.
The harder part was making the rewards economy sustainable. We spent the last 9 months building partnerships with established gift card providers (Reloadly, Xoxoday), integrating Stripe + Apple Pay + Google Play subscriptions, and shipping a streak system that actually feels fair (no punishment for skipping a rest day).
The app is free to start — there's a Basic and Premium subscription for power users who want bigger challenges and faster point accumulation.
