Bulk Property Import & Export

Bulk-create HubSpot properties from one sheet, with preview

A HubSpot app for admins, RevOps and agencies. HubSpot's own tools suit one property at a time. This app does the bulk jobs: create or update hundreds of properties, groups and dropdown options from one CSV or Google Sheet, with a preview of the whole batch before anything is written. Copy a property set to another HubSpot account with a diff first, and keep a property change log on every plan, including Free and Starter. Property settings access only: it never reads your records.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Caner, a software developer in Oslo. Full disclosure: I built this app, and Kayabyte is my small studio.

Why it exists: setting up properties in HubSpot is mostly one property at a time. HubSpot does a lot natively, and it's worth knowing first: you can create a property while mapping an import, paste a dropdown's options with Load options, export all properties for documentation, and Enterprise has sandboxes. What it doesn't do is take a whole list of properties, groups and dropdown options from one file, show you the full batch before writing anything, and copy a standard property set from one account to another.

What the app does:
- Import from CSV or Google Sheet, preview what will be created, updated or left unchanged (with a reason for every row that has a problem), then Apply
- Export the full setup in the same columns, edit it and import it again
- Copy a property set between connected accounts with a diff first (Pro)
- Nightly property change log: 30 days on Free; 12 months, weekly digest and restore on Pro

It asks for property settings permissions only and never reads contact, company, deal or ticket records. Data is stored in the EU and deleted after uninstall.

Pricing: a Free plan, free forever. Pro is USD 19 a month per account, Agency USD 49 a month for unlimited client accounts. The first 25 accounts get Pro free for life.

It is not listed on the HubSpot App Marketplace yet (that needs a few installs before review), so it installs through a direct link. If you want to try it in your own portal (an agency or free CRM portal is fine): https://bulk-property.kayabyte.dev/oauth/install?src=ph . It takes about 2 minutes, asks for property settings access only, and you can uninstall any time. Honest feedback is what I'm after: what's missing for your setup work, and what would stop you from trying it?
