Bow Budget

Aim every dollar.

Bow is an envelope budget for iPhone with no account and no server. Your budget lives on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. Split your money into envelopes before you spend it, then log purchases with Siri, a receipt scan or your bank’s notifications, so bank linking is optional. New in 2.1: share a Klarna, Affirm or Afterpay screenshot and Bow schedules every payment, plus support for iPhone Duo. Switching from YNAB? Bow imports your budget, envelope balances included.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Daniel, and I make Bow. I've been budgeting using YNAB for a long time, but really wanted my own personal solution. I made Bow for folks who want the YNAB way but in a simpler, more modern interface that doesn't impose on the user any unnecessary educational or branded content or useless bloat. All you see is your budget, your spending, your accounts. Bow is an envelope budget. You split the money you have into envelopes before you spend it, so you always know what’s safe to spend. Bow is different in a few ways: • No account, no server. Your budget lives on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. • Bank sync is optional, using SimpleFIN. Log spending with Siri, a receipt scan or your bank’s purchase notifications instead. • New in 2.1: share a Klarna, Affirm or Afterpay screenshot and Bow schedules every payment. Bow also now supports iPhone Duo. • Coming from YNAB? Bow imports your budget, envelope balances included. What it doesn’t do yet: it’s iPhone only (no iPad, Mac, web or Android), and there’s no partner sharing. But those things are coming! Bow is $6.99/month, $49.99/year or $129 once, with a 2-week free trial. For the Product Hunt community, code BOWLAUNCH gets your first year for $29.99 (until November 21). I’d love to know: what’s the one thing that’s made you give up on a budgeting app before?
