Hey Product Hunt! Krish here, the founder of Bloom Together - and honestly, this one's personal. 🌸 About a year ago, my girlfriend and I were doing long distance. We tried every couples app out there, and every single time, she'd try one, shrug, and say "it just doesn't feel like us." Too gamified. Too generic. Too much like a productivity tool with a heart sticker slapped on it. So I did what any slightly obsessed developer would do. I built her one. No pitch deck. No market research. Just me, building something quietly, trying to make her smile from across the country. When I finally showed her Bloom Together, she lit up. She used it that same night. Left a note on our memory wall. Sent me a mood check-in at midnight. I still have that screenshot. One thing I learned fast - she loves otters. Like, unreasonably so. So when I built out the mood check-ins, I made little otter illustrations for each mood state. She lost it.
