Bellpip
A bell in your Mac's notch that rings when Claude needs you
Running several Claude Code sessions? Bellpip shows each one in your MacBook notch: working, waiting, needs you, done. Pip, a little bronze bell, rings when a session needs you, with a softer chime when a long task is done, and lowers your music for the half second it plays. Click a row to jump to that exact terminal tab in Terminal, VS Code or Cursor. Native Swift, no account. Free for 7 days of use, then $9.99 once.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I run 3-4 Claude Code sessions at once, each in its own tab. I kept coming back to one that had been waiting on a permission prompt for 20 minutes.
Bellpip puts them all in the MacBook notch. Pip, a small bronze bell, acts out each session's state and rings when one needs you. A few things I cared about:
• Different chimes for "needs you" and "done", and no done chime for quick turns, so it stays quiet when you're watching anyway.
• It lowers your music for the half second the chime plays (CoreAudio process taps), so it never startles you. Works with any player.
• Click a row and you land in that exact terminal tab (Terminal, VS Code, Cursor).
• Native Swift, no account, no telemetry.
Limits, honestly: Apple silicon, macOS 14+, Claude Code only. iTerm2 and Ghostty are not supported yet.
Free for 7 days of use, then $9.99 once. I'd love to hear which events you want a chime for.
