Hi Product Hunt!
The idea came from a simple problem I kept seeing. Students often wait until exams are close before checking their attendance. By then, many realize they're below the required percentage and aren't sure how many classes they need to attend to recover. Existing tools were either too basic, cluttered with ads, or didn't support university-specific attendance requirements.
I wanted to build something that was fast, accurate, and easy for any student to use. Over time, the project evolved from a simple attendance percentage calculator into a platform that also calculates safe bunk limits, required classes, and provides calculators tailored for different universities.
One of the biggest challenges wasn't building the calculator itself—it was making the interface simple enough that anyone could understand it in seconds, while ensuring the calculations remained accurate across different scenarios and devices.
This is just the beginning. I'm continuously improving AttendCalc based on real student feedback, and I have many more features planned.
