Hey beautiful folks, Abhishek here.
2 Weeks ago, I build Assist out of frustration.
I was using native mac screenshot app for cropping and sending the image to codex. Along with long prompt I have to type (now speak).
This process is not bad but if you do this 100 times a day, annotating, cropping then it become frustrating.
Now, using Assist I hold option key and start annotating while speaking. The local model transcribe my voice, and create a optimise prompt which I can copy and send to codex, claude code or anywhere.
Assist is native macos notch so, when I take screenshot a quick screenshot editor appear right then and there with option like crop, blur and style.
All the data is stored locally and nothing is send to any server(there is no server). There is not subscription(one time only). Hope you like it.
