Hi Product Hunt, I'm the maker of Allergy Card. The idea is narrow on purpose: when you can't explain a food allergy in the local language, you hand the kitchen your phone. How it works: - Choose from 24 allergens. - Pick the card language. There are 33, and the card text is bundled in the app rather than fetched or machine-translated on the fly. - Show the screen. Every card includes a cross-contact warning, so the message is not just a list of ingredients. - Your profile is saved on the device. What's free and what isn't: all 24 allergens, all 33 languages and one profile are free. Premium adds an emergency-phrases card, a dietary-requirements card (vegan, vegetarian, halal, kosher, gluten-free, dairy-free) and multiple profiles. One honest caveat: this is a communication aid, not medical advice, and it doesn't replace asking staff to confirm. The card text has been checked by back-translation, but not yet by native speakers in every language. If you spot something off in yours, please tell me. I'd love feedback on which languages and allergens are missing, and whether the card is clear enough to read at a glance.
