Every time I tried to monetize a site, I'd spend hours digging through program pages for three numbers that almost nobody publishes clearly: what the commission actually is, whether it's one-time or recurring, and how long the cookie lasts.
Worse, some programs quietly require you to be an existing customer, disclose the rate only after you're approved, or pay out only on the first month. The "rates" on comparison sites were often outdated or plain wrong — so I decided to build the directory I wished existed.
