Aether
Privacy-first mental wellbeing platform for students
Aether is a research-backed, privacy-first mental well-being platform designed specifically for students. It offers personalized, guided support and practical recovery pathways to help navigate stress, burnout, and academic pressure. Built around strict data privacy, Aether provides a safe space for students to reflect, build resilience, and access evidence-based tools tailored to their unique challenges, giving campuses and individuals a reliable resource for sustainable mental health.
I built Aether because during my time as a student, I watched so many of my peers—and struggled myself—silently navigate academic burnout, anxiety, and stress. The existing mental health resources were either hard to access, lacked personalization, or raised serious concerns around data privacy.
We wanted to fix that. Aether was created as a safe, research-backed, and strictly privacy-first space where students can build resilience using practical, evidence-based tools without ever worrying about their personal data.
Throughout our journey, our biggest learning was that students don't need generic advice—they need clear, structured recovery pathways tailored to real student challenges. We evolved Aether from a simple self-reflection journal into a complete wellbeing ecosystem.
I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or any questions about our approach! What tools or practices have helped you manage stress during intense work or study periods?
